The reigning MVP has been channeling his inner Superman to start the season.

The Buffalo Bills took care of business against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, 31-21, with Josh Allen making history in the process.

Josh Allen’s Career Record on Thursday

1-0 – November 28th, 2019 – @ Dallas Cowboys : 26-15 W

2-0 – November 25th, 2021 – @ New Orleans Saints: 31-6 W

3-0 – September 8th, 2022 – @ Los Angeles Rams: 31-10 W

4-0 – November 24th, 2022 – @ Detroit Lions: 28-25 W

5-0 – December 1st, 2022 – @ New England Patriots: 24-10 W

6-0 – October 26th, 2023 – vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 24-18 W

7-0 – September 12th, 2024 – @ Miami Dolphins: 31-10 W

8-0 – September 18th, 2025 – vs. Miami Dolphins: 31-21 W

Allen is now a perfect 8-0 on Thursday night, joining an exclusive club with his latest win. Only three other quarterbacks in NFL history have won eight consecutive Thursday starts.

Tom Brady rattled off nine straight wins with the New England Patriots between 2002 and 2015. Russell Wilson matched the feat with the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2020. And Hall of Famer Peyton Manning strung together eight in a row with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos between 2004 and 2013.

Allen now joins a short list that consists of Brady, Wilson and Manning. Is that any good?

Only one of Allen’s Thursday games has come on Thanksgiving — in 2022, when he threw for 253 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a Bills win over the Lions at Ford Field.

Allen marched the Bills downfield and set up kicker Tyler Bass, who drilled a 45-yarder with seven seconds left to seal the win.

Only two of Allen’s Thursday victories have come at home, including the most recent one. Overall, the Bills have now won 13 straight regular-season home games, the longest active home winning streak in the NFL.

Pregame rituals aside, no one is playing better than Allen right now.

He finished Thursday going 22-28 for 213 yards and three touchdowns, and did so with relative ease.

The Bills are now 3-0 and look every bit like the Super Bowl contender they were predicted to be.

They beat Lamar Jackson and the Ravens 41-40 in a thriller, dominated the Jets 30-10, and have now capped it off by dispatching Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins on the primetime stage.

Their next two games are at home against the New Orleans Saints and Patriots, giving the Bills a real shot at starting 5-0.

After taking home the regular season MVP award last year, Allen looks to be picking up right where he left off.

More to come…
